BMW JBE Emulation Not Working
« on: December 17, 2013, 04:59:05 »
Hi

I am trying to set up a test bench for BMW CIC Coding, I have set the tieCAR to EBK (JBE KCAN 6/14) but cannot get the modules to wake up, I have cable set up as follows:

OBD Pins
1 12v
4 Ground
5 Ground
6 CAN H
14 CAN L
16 12v

I have CIC, CID & ZBE connected to harness all with 12v, ground & CAN High & Low.

I have tried options EBP (JBE PT CAN) also but no difference.
In EBK mode the status- light is flashing red, high & low are yellow & diff is white

Do you want to share which wire was that?

Also, I am considering this to buy. I cannot find instructions / manual how to set this up?
I know how to wire it but not sure how to turn this device on and connect it to laptop, other modules and how to put it for bmw configuration?

Any help?
